St Issac Jorges T-Shirt 🖐

St Isaac Jorges, one of the North American Martyrs, is a role model for heroic faith. He was imprisoned, tortured, and eventually killed by the Iroquois nation. But his life was marked by love, suffering, and volunteering to go back to the Native American people again and again. 

When he was praying during his time with the Huron, he had a vision, in which he entered a book store. He purchased a book, and in the book it was written that to enter heaven, one must face trials and tribulation. 

In his first imprisonment, he could have escaped, but chose to stay with his comrades. He was rewarded by having his fingers burned, crushed, and chewed off. Yet he remained calm and even cheerful during in torture.
